Prince Edward Island invites total 188 candidates in two PNP draw held in November

PEI issued invitations to all three category- Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact immigration candidates

Prince Edward Island (PEI) invited 188 candidates through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws held on 3^rd November and 17^th November, 2022.

39 and 141 invitations went to Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates for both draws held on 3^rd November and 17^th November respectively, Breakdown for these two categories and minimum EOI score not provided by PEI PNP.

8 invitations issued to Business Impact Category under the Work Permit Stream, it needed a minimum 62 points in the province’s immigration system.

EOI profiles are given points based on the province’s unique point grid. The highest-scoring candidates are then invited to apply through monthly draws.

Labour Impact Category is for foreign nationals who have a valid job offer in PEI, and have support from their employer. It is divided into three streams: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, and International Graduate.

Candidates in this category must also submit an Expression of Interest in order to be considered for a provincial nomination through the Labour Impact Category.

The express entry stream of the PEI PNP helps the candidates with low CRS score (in Express Entry System) to acquire the additional 600 CRS points through provincial nomination.

Business Impact Category candidates need to meet the minimum provincial score requirement in order to proceed with their applications. The score is different in every draw. The invitations that P.E.I. sent in today’s draw were issued under the Work Permit Stream, which is for foreign entrepreneurs who want to own and operate a business on the island.
