Canada invited 545 PNP candidates in latest Express Entry draw

Canada’s Express Entry draw issued 545 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence. Candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 753 to be invited in the May 11, 2022 invitation round, 19 points decreased compare to last PNP draw held on 27^th April 2022.

Express Entry manages the pool of candidates for Canada’s three main economic immigration classes — the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

The highest-ranked candidates are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence through regular draws from the pool. Candidates have 60 days to apply for permanent residence.

IRCC used its tie-break rule in the today’s draw. Candidates with the minimum score 753 were only invited if they submitted their profiles before December 15, 2021 at 20:32:57 UTC. IRCC always publishes a cutoff time, whether or not there was an actual tie.
